    At its session in January 2023, the SABs are requested to make recommendations on global sectoral meetings to be held in the biennium 2024–25, and on preparatory work for sectoral meetings in future biennia.

    Launch webinar. The book is based on the findings of a research project carried out by the ILO under the direction of Sabrina De Gobbi. The research was conducted in collaboration with the National University of Lesotho and the University of Zimbabwe.

  4. Knowledge building on productivity management in food processing sector and sustainable integration in global supply chain

    A workshop organized by ILO Promoting Sustainable Enterprises in India (PSEI) project in collaboration with the State Government of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, to build knowledge of food processing enterprises in the two states, on responsible management practices, and alignment to international standards.

  5. Policy Dialogue on 'Building a market responsive, resilient, and inclusive MSME ecosystem for job rich and sustainable growth'

    Policy dialogue to share support knowledge building of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in designing of evidence-based policy initiatives for catalysing sector-led growth by sharing efforts made by Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, and South Korea, in transforming to market-based economy and transitioning from agrarian to global manufacturing hubs.

  6. Sectoral Advisory Bodies 2021

    The Sectoral Advisory Bodies (SABs), composed of tripartite constituents engaged in economic sectors, were established at the 298th Session of the ILO Governing Body (March 2007) to review sectoral developments and to make recommendations to the ILO's constituents on priorities for sectoral work. Sessions of the SABs are held every two years, and they are chaired by a representative of the Government group of the Governing Body. Following the session held in January 2021 the SABs are to make recommendations on sectoral meetings to be held in the biennium 2022–23 and on preparatory work for sectoral meetings in future biennia. These recommendations will be submitted to the Governing Body at its 341st session in March 2021.

    Trade union representatives, senior ILO officials and experts from Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, and the Arab regions will attend the symposium to discuss and agree on how best to promote Decent work in the Global Supply Chains.

  10. One day enterprise workplace training sessions on risk assessment and management in Zambia

    The one day risk assessment and management workshops organized in three enterprises enhanced the capacity of occupational safety and health (OSH) inspectors in carrying out trainings on risk assessment and management and built capacities in the three selected enterprise on how to carry out risk assessment with simple tools and techniques.
