  3. Reducing HIV testing and social protection coverage gaps amongst migrant workers through workplace intervention in Gujarat, India

    HIV testing at worksites, focusing on migrant and industrial workers, can reduce HIV testing gaps amongst men, shows this innovative project implemented by the Gujarat AIDS Awareness and Prevention, a non-profit organization, with support from the ILO and Gujarat State AIDS Control Society in five districts of Gujarat, India. The project also facilitated access of government social protection schemes to migrant workers.

    The project explores the experiences of women on digital labour platforms in multiple sectors of the economy in India, Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda. It builds evidence on the emerging opportunities and challenges platforms create to provide guidance for ensuring decent working conditions on platforms.

  9. National tripartite conference on the global call to action for a human centred recovery from COVID-19, in the context of India, jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Employment
