    Nigeria ratifies ILO conventions on occupational safety and health and on violence and harassment in the world of work

    Nigeria is the 29th country to ratify the Convention No. 187 promoting safe and healthy working environment and the 22nd to ratify the ILO Convention No. 190 on violence and harassment in the world of work.

    Understanding and improving women's work on digital labour platforms

    The project explores the experiences of women on digital labour platforms in multiple sectors of the economy in India, Kenya, Nigeria and Uganda. It builds evidence on the emerging opportunities and challenges platforms create to provide guidance for ensuring decent working conditions on platforms.

    Women migrant workers’ labour market situation in West Africa

    This report provides an overview of the situation of women migrant workers in West Africa based on a review of laws, regulations, policies and exisiting data, with a special focus on Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria. It includes data on women migrant workers' working conditions and wages, sectors of employment, representation in the informal economy and other labour and social protection issues. The report was carried out with financial support from the "Support to Free Movement of Persons and Migration in West Africa" project (FMM) funded by the EU and ECOWAS.
