  5. AU, ILO and UNICEF mark the World Day against Child Labour in Africa

    The African Union, ILO and UNICEF organized a virtual Continental event to mark the World Day against Child Labour. The event brought together key actors, to discuss strategies to address child labour, taking a holistic and systemic approach based on the 2020 Global Estimates on Child Labour and related recommendations, which had been launched by the ILO and UNICEF on 10 June.

  6. Social protection in action: Exploring public options of social health protection for refugees in West and Central Africa

    Since 2014, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have worked together in line with their respective mandates to strengthen access to decent work among refugees, especially as regards income generation and social protection. This partnership has led to the elaboration of joint technical studies in a number of West and Central African countries.

It is based primarily on the research documents shared by the IATT members, covering vulnerability studies, stigma and discrimination studies, impact and cost-benefit studies.
