  4. Timor-Leste’s internationally certified trainers are ready to boost women entrepreneurship in the country

    The Women Entrepreneurship Development (WED) certificate are awarded to four trainers, with support from the ILO, certifying them as the ILO’s Gender and Entrepreneurship Together (GET Ahead) trainer.

    A three-day fair exhibition held in Dili has provided an opportunity for women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from other vulnerable groups to be economically independent and to fight against harassment and stigma.

    Building and rehabilitating roads in Timor-Leste with a greater awareness on social, environmental and OSH safeguards

    The ILO’s Roads for Development Supporting Programme (R4D-SP) Bridging Phase builds the capacity of Municipality Public Works staff to identify and address social, environmental and OSH gaps of road constructions in Timor-Leste.
