  2. The ILO is undertaking a training of facilitators workshop on Think.Coop adaptation for Refugees and Host Communities in Sudan

    The three day workshop is taking place in Khartoum on 21-23 April in partnership with Hope and Friendship for Development Organization (HOPE).

  3. AU, ILO and UNICEF mark the World Day against Child Labour in Africa

    The African Union, ILO and UNICEF organized a virtual Continental event to mark the World Day against Child Labour. The event brought together key actors, to discuss strategies to address child labour, taking a holistic and systemic approach based on the 2020 Global Estimates on Child Labour and related recommendations, which had been launched by the ILO and UNICEF on 10 June.

  4. Prepping for Water Infrastructure Initiatives in target localities

    In September 2020, ILO engineers visited West Kordofan and East Darfur to develop bills of quantities to prioritize between different water-infrastructure projects.

  5. Assessing market opportunities in East Darfur and West Kordofan

    In March 2020, the ILO visited West Kordofan and East Darfur to assess opportunities for local economic development.
